Elective Ultrasounds
These ultrasounds offer a special opportunity to connect with baby without needing a provider referral. For the best experience, it’s recommended to wait until 7 weeks of pregnancy to clearly see baby and hear their heartbeat. While a sonographer can spot a baby on the screen at 6 weeks, a strong heartbeat and clear view of them may be difficult for new parents to experience prior to 7 weeks.
Please note that early vaginal ultrasounds are not available. By scheduling at the right time, you'll have the most accurate and reassuring experience with an abdominal ultrasound, helping create a comforting and enjoyable experience as you connect with your baby during this exciting time!
