Since opening in July 2023, Baby Haven KC has been a trusted destination for elective ultrasound services, offering early gender reveals (as early as 6 weeks with SneakPeek Clinical) and 2D, 4D, and HD Live imaging to capture your baby’s growth and milestones. No provider referral or waiting until 20 weeks is required for elective imaging.
What began as a small 3D studio inside Aculas in Overland Park quickly grew into a trusted destination for families—including some of Kansas City’s beloved professional athletes—seeking top-tier imaging and luxury keepsakes.
Recently named Best of Overland Park 2024 by BusinessRate, Baby Haven continues to evolve, offering enhanced services and memorable experiences. Meet The Owner
Sydnee is the founder and heart behind Baby Haven KC, a center dedicated to stress-free prenatal imaging and early blood testing. With multiple degrees from the University of Nebraska, including a Diagnostic Medical Sonography degree from Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Sydnee brings over a decade of experience in the field, having worked at numerous corporate facilities across the country.
After graduating, Sydnee spent years working demanding weekend on-call shifts and repetitive tasks in rural Nebraska. Realizing that small-town life and constant overnight shifts were no longer fulfilling, she decided to make a change. Sydnee, along with her mini Australian Shepherd, Eddie, embarked on a five-year journey as a traveling sonographer. This experience allowed her to meet people from all walks of life and find her true calling.
Eventually, Sydnee settled in Lenexa, KS, after completing a six-month contract in Kansas City. With extensive experience in high-risk sonography and a passion for obstetrics, Sydnee realized it was time to pursue a life and career on her own terms. In July 2023, she founded Baby Haven KC—a space where her entrepreneurial spirit, steady hand, and artistic eye come together to offer exceptional prenatal imaging services.
When she's not at Baby Haven, Sydnee enjoys painting, spending time at Perry Lake, and exploring new places with her fiancé Andrew, their two golden retrievers, and Eddie. She's excited to be a part of your prenatal journey and looks forward to creating memorable ultrasound experiences for you and your family.
