Welcome to Baby Haven, an independently owned prenatal imaging center in West Shawnee, Kansas. From early pregnancy reassurance to provider-ordered diagnostic imaging and advanced 3D/4D ultrasounds, parents receive skilled imaging in a private, relaxed with affordable self-pay office.

Medical exams ordered by your provider.
Baby Haven’s diagnostic ultrasounds are performed by an experienced RDMS and interpreted by a board certified radiologist, with a formal report sent to your provider. These are medical exams for needs such as viability checks, anatomy screenings, growth monitoring, and follow up imaging, not keepsake visits. A printed photo strip is included with each appointment.

Baby Haven’s elective ultrasounds do not require a referral because they are not medical evaluations. These visits give you a clinically appropriate, enjoyable setting to see your baby with HD imaging, heartbeat scans, gender confirmation, and keepsake options.

Convenient and reliable genetic testing.
Baby Haven KC provides specimen collection for select prenatal DNA tests, with samples sent same-day to the testing laboratory for processing and results.
We are solely a specimen collection site. Testing, results, interpretation, and medical recommendations are provided by the respective laboratory and/or healthcare provider.

Elective ultrasounds start at 6 weeks with early heartbeat scans and 2D (B&W) ultrasounds.
Visibility varies, especially with individual cycle length and regularity. Choose your timing based on what you’d like to see and what is captured every day at Baby Haven KC in the online gallery.

Elective services do not require a referral.
Diagnostic services require an order from your healthcare provider.

Elective ultrasounds allow up to 5 adult guests, while diagnostic ultrasounds allow up to 2.
This office prioritizes attentive, professional visits, quality results, and a timely schedule with minimal distractions. Digital galleries allow parents share photos and videos at home in their own way. Must be 18 or older to attend.

30–34 weeks is ideal for the HD features most parents want to see.
This office recommends scheduling before 37 weeks, when baby may begin positioning for birth, making facial views more difficult.
Scheduling later? A 2D ultrasound with a quick HD glimpse may be an option, depending on baby’s position.

At Baby Haven, skilled imaging and attentive care come standard without normalizing repeats or refunds.
When baby isn’t visible as expected here, medical factors may warrant follow-up with your healthcare provider rather than another elective scan.
